Pistachio tree at Prusch park, San Jose

Unripe pistachios on a tree in Prusch park, San Jose on Oct 3 resemble miniature mangoes. The signature hard shell is just beneath the pinkish fleshy rind. This tree is part of the international rare fruit garden maintained by the master gardeners.
