April 2015 Events

April 11, 2015: Join us for a special orchard tour and work party in the Heritage Orchard at 10:00. The monthly work party has been moved to the same date as our bi-monthly meeting, with a potluck after the work party. Come see what has been happening in the orchard, give us a hand with some pruning and tidying, and then enjoy lunch together with other fruit loving members!

April 11, 2015: Bi-monthly meeting at Emma Prusch Park in San Jose. Open to all. Meeting starts at 1:00. Come early for the potluck. The topic will be on drip irrigation and water conservation with our own Dexter Girton. We will also hold our annual greenwood scion exchange. Please contribute scion wood from evergreen fruits such as loquat, avocado, and feijoa.  Citrus scions will be available for purchase. NO citrus scions may be brought in from outside sources!  It is very important that we all do what we can to prevent the spread of Citrus Greening Disease.  Demonstration for citrus grafting will be available.
