The Santa Clara Valley chapter of the California Rare Fruit Growers is located in the heart of the Silicon valley.

Chapter meetings are held at Prusch Park in San Jose, the second Saturday of even-numbered months, that is, February, April, etc.  Look for us in the Meeting Hall (the single story green building) near the white Prusch Farmhouse.  Members begin arriving around 12:30 and the meetings start at 1:00.

Come and find out what fruit you can grow in the Silicon Valley, formerly known as the “Valley of the Heart’s Delight”.  We have members from San Mateo, Los Altos, Sunnyvale, Los Gatos, Santa Cruz, and Fremont.  We grow many things, ranging from bananas to peaches you cannot find in the market.  Our goal is to help each other be successful in growing edible plants, and fruit in particular!  Please see the CRFG website for the mission statement of our parent organization.
